Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings and use of services provided by Danley Marshes Riding Centre, operated by Rebecca Kerry, Drove Road, Minster on Sea, ME12 3AD.

1. Bookings

All bookings are made through our online booking system and are subject to availability. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.

By making a booking you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have read and agree to these terms.

2. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Card details are never stored by Danley Marshes Riding Centre.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel a booking for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.

In the event that Danley Marshes Riding Centre needs to cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.

4. Health & Safety

Horse riding is a physically demanding activity that carries inherent risks. By booking a session you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions given by our instructors at all times.

• Riders must wear a correctly fitted riding hat at all times when mounted. Helmets are available to borrow on site.
• Long trousers, sturdy boots with a small heel, and covered shoulders are required.
• Riders must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries or disabilities that may affect their ability to ride safely.
• Danley Marshes Riding Centre reserves the right to refuse or stop a lesson if a rider is deemed to be a risk to themselves or others.

5. Age & Suitability

We welcome riders of all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Our instructors will assess each rider's suitability at the start of each session and may adjust activities accordingly.

6. Liability

Danley Marshes Riding Centre takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of riders. However, we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in our activities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Riders and parents/guardians of junior riders participate at their own risk.

7. Behaviour

We expect all riders and visitors to treat our staff, horses and other riders with respect. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, without refund.

8. Weather

Lessons go ahead in all weather conditions unless conditions are deemed unsafe by our instructors. In the event of cancellation due to unsafe conditions, a full refund or rebook will be offered.

9. Photography

Danley Marshes Riding Centre may take photographs or videos during sessions for use on our website and social media. Please let us know at the time of booking if you do not consent to this.

10. Event Tickets

The following additional terms apply to all event tickets purchased for Danley Marshes Riding Centre events (including the Open Day and any other ticketed events):

• Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the person named at the time of booking.
• Tickets cannot be resold or transferred to another person.
• Your ticket (QR code) must be presented at the entrance on the day. We reserve the right to refuse entry without a valid ticket.
• Event tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Danley Marshes Riding Centre.
• In the event of cancellation by us, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
• Danley Marshes Riding Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
• Pony ride tickets are subject to a maximum rider weight of 13 stone (82kg). Riders exceeding this limit will not be permitted to ride and no refund will be issued.
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during the event.
• On-the-day activities (funfair rides, face paint, etc.) are provided by third-party vendors and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
